Job Description
Man And Boy.

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs tasks that contribute to the client's comfort and safety in the home. The PCA reports to the nursing supervisor and/or the director of the company. The PCA can demonstrate their ability to perform the job adequately through the skills checklist, orientation, in-services, and tests.

 
 
 
Important Information

• All employees must provide their own transportation, proof of insurance, and good driving record. Employees must be at least 18 years of age to transport a client.

• Potential employees must know that there will be physical demands, such as bending, stooping, and lifting. You must be adaptable to a variety of environments and settings in the community.

• A cheerful, positive attitude is essential if our clients are to be served properly. An employee's attitude reflects that of the agency, and we expect that it will be one of dignity, courtesy, and consideration of others.

• Superior Home Care is not an employment agency or placement service. Superior Home Care employees sign a service contract and a non-compete agreement when they are hired by SHC.

NOTE: Medical Insurance will be available after 90 days of employment to those who work 40+ hours/week.
